Course approval is initially given for 2 years, and any application for re-approval will be assessed on whether the course continues to meet the criteria. To apply for course re-approval download a re-approval form and email, fax or post it to the Department of Labour. Re-approval applications are assessed by the Advisory Committee (usually the Chair acting on behalf of the Committee) on whether the course will remain substantially similar to the original approved course. Evaluation reports that are sent in as part of the reporting requirements are also reviewed in this assessment. If significant issues arise in this process the re-approval application will be submitted to Panel members for comment. Re-approved courses are approved for a further 3 years.
